Occupational therapy helps children focus on and gain independence with their “occupations,” or daily activities in their natural environments, including home, school and community. We help them learn to do what they want and need to do through play. These activities will improve their coordination, attention, planning skills, fine motor skills and organization so they are able to complete tasks such as focusing on schoolwork, self-feeding, writing and getting dressed in a more efficient way.
